We have test fit our wheels on every style of Regulation full-size lacrosse goals we have seen: Frames with rounded tube corners; Frames with welded tube corners; Frames with vertical tubes and flat bar base plates; and a wide variety of “homemade” goals.
If you feel our wheels don’t attach securely to your style of goal, we will refund 100% of your purchase price. Please send us a picture of your goal so we can possibly improve our design.
USA Lacrosse and World Lacrosse rules set the regulation size of a lacrosse goal for men and women is 6ft (1.83m) in height from the goal line to the crossbar, and 6ft (1.83m) in width from post to post. Regulation lacrosse goals are 7ft (2.1m) in depth.
Official “game day” goals for competitive use are typically made with sturdy 1.75in to 2in diameter steel tubing for the goal mouth frame, either similar tubing or flat bar for the base, and can exceed 100 pounds in weight. Official goals will often have squared off welded corners.
Practice goals have the same overall dimensions but are made using lightweight 1in to 1.5in steel tubing with rounded corners.
“Junior” lacrosse goals, for boys and girls aged under 8 years old, are 3ft (0.9m) tall x 3ft (0.9m).
Nets are typically secured to the frame either by a long rod that slips through the net openings and short tubes on the goal frame, by lacing the net with cord to small eyelets welded to the frame, or by wrapping cord completely around the goal frame tube and net.
Our rollers will attach to all known styles of nets.

Most goal net openings are between 5/8” and 1” to contain a lacrosse ball.
Our rollers have two 1-1/2” wide Velcro straps to get a secure and durable attachment to the goal. The straps will fit through even the smaller net openings.

Yes, the goals for both women’s and men’s lacrosse are the same dimensions, as described above, and our rollers work well for either.
Yes, the steel frame of the roller is powder coated with UV resistant Hi-Viz yellow.
All the other components are UV resistant and are unaffected by rain.
The wheels should be removed from the goals before practice or play starts.
Once removed, the wheels themselves are small enough to be stored in the back of the goal, or in a team equipment bag. The Velcro straps of the pair can be attached together creating a convenient carrying handle.
The High School version (LXR-32) of our rollers have 5” diameter wheels. The smaller wheels make this version a bit more affordable for high school and youth league teams.
The College version (LXR-64) of our rollers have 8” diameter wheels. The larger wheels make it easier to move goals longer distances, across parking lots and over curbs.
Both sizes will fit all regulation lacrosse goals.
Position the bottom horizontal frame of the goal (tube or flat bar) on the flat bar of the roller. Push the roller tight against the vertical post of the goal so the round post
centers into the angle of the roller. Wrap the Velcro straps around the vertical post, through the net openings closest to the post, then through the strap’s D ring. Cinch the strap tight and close the Velcro.Repeat to attach a second roller to the opposite vertical post. Rotate the position of both rollers so the wheels point generally forward (the two axles pointing toward each other across the goal mouth)
Tilt the goal onto the rollers by either pulling the top horizontal bar forward (place your foot against one of the wheels to gain some leverage) or by
lifting the back point of the goal. With your hands at about waist level (holding either the top horizontal bar or the point of the goal) move the goal as needed. It’s generally easier to
“pull” (versus “push”) the goal over obstacles.
When positioned, remove the rollers by undoing the Velcro straps and sliding the rollers off the goal. Attach the two top straps together to easily carry the pair.
